With just over 180 inhabitants, this old weavers’village was the birthplace of Pierre Husnot (1840-1929) whose special interest as well as devoted work and study of fern and moss was to bring him world fame as botanist. This charming village draws also its pride from its castle and its modest church from the nineteenth century.
